Training

At CCCS our policy is for all employees to have access to training and development, enabling them to develop their individual skills.

This means that from your very first day with us we offer training and development as well as on the job support to ensure you can develop to the best of your potential.

Our company induction programme has been designed to give you the best start to your career. High importance is given to welcoming you into the organisation through familiarisation of how CCCS works and your role within it. As we are a charity, a great deal of emphasis is placed on the ethos of the charity and how your role will ultimately help our clients.

Once you have completed the company induction, you will then follow a structured programme to learn your job role, supported by coaches and mentors within your department.

All employees are encouraged to develop their individual skills and knowledge, through our Personal Enhancement Programme, which involves regular reviews with their managers where their individual needs can be identified. There are a number of training and development events, designed to develop knowledge and skills further. Also, our assisted study scheme could support your development through achieving relevant professional qualifications with colleges, universities and other institutions.

Our Investor in People award supports our commitment to training and development. This award recognises our commitment to investing in the development of individuals, as we recognise that it is our people and their skills that ensure the success of our charity.
