Whilst CCCS is a charity, we ensure that our rates of pay reflect the market
place and also the level of duties and responsibility of each job role. We
perform pay reviews annually at the 1st January each year and this is based on
the performance of each individual.
As well as your basic pay, we also offer a wide range of additional benefits

Annual Discretionary Company Bonus
We recognise that every individual contributes to the excellent service we
provide to those individuals who are facing financial difficulty. Our bonus is
never based on targets or sales but instead focuses on the number of people we
help in a year and the quality of the service we provide.
Group Personal Pension
At CCCS we operate a contributory pension scheme to all employees who have
completed their 3 month probationary period. This means that we will contribute
between 4 – 8% (depending on your age) into your pension, so along with your
tax free investment into the scheme, you can be assured of a great essential
benefit in years to come.
Healthcare Cashplan
With the cost of basic healthcare such as dentist checkups and eye tests ever
increasing, this company paid scheme allows you to claim money back on costs
incurred and covers much more than the necessities in life. You can also claim
money back for alternative treatments such as aromatherapy, reiki, and massage.
Childcare Voucher Scheme
We offer you the opportunity to use part of your salary in exchange for
childcare vouchers, saving you up to £858 per annum as you don’t pay income tax
or national insurance on vouchers.
Death in Service Benefit
Whilst employed by CCCS you are covered by our Death in Service benefit. This
would mean that in the event of your death, your nominated beneficiaries would
receive 3 times your basic salary. This benefit, whilst providing peace of
mind, also often negates the need for separate life assurance - all without the
need for medicals.
Buy/Sell Annual Leave
As well as receiving a basic annual leave entitlement of 22 days (rising 1 day
per annum to a maximum of 27 days), we also offer all staff the opportunity to
purchase/sell up to an additional 5 days annual leave each year.
Subsidised parking in Leeds
Whilst a city centre location is great if you rely on public transport to get
to and from work, if you drive to work then the cost of parking can be quite
expensive. To help with this, we have negotiated a subsidised rate to park at
the multi storey car park next to our offices in Leeds. At this time we do not
have a similar scheme in place at our other regional centres.
Employee Assistance Programme
We employ the services of FirstAssist who provide a 24-hour, 365 day
counselling, legal advice and medical helpline which is available to all staff.
This enables staff to speak confidentially to trained counsellors/legal
consultants/doctors on any personal, legal or medical problems they may be
encountering which can save money, stress and time in many instances.
Saving by Payroll Deduction
Through Leeds City Credit Union, we can offer all employees a range of savings
plans to suit your needs, regular dividends on savings and access to a variety
of other financial services such as low cost loans, insurance and foreign
currency.
