Balancing Work and Home Commitments

We recognise that there are many commitments outside of work and we have a series of policies that help you to balance the needs of work and home. These include:

Maternity Leave

All Mums-to-be are entitled to receive 26 weeks maternity leave and depending on your length of service, a further 26 weeks of unpaid leave. Reasonable time off is also given for antenatal appointments.

Paternity Leave

All new Dads are entitled to take 2 weeks paid leave to spend with their partner at the time of the birth.

Parental Leave

All Mums and Dads of children under the age of 5 may take between 1 and 4 weeks off per year to spend with their child.

Adoption Leave

If you are adopting a child, CCCS will provide the same benefits as for Maternity Leave, thereby giving you up to 1 years leave to spend with your child.

Emergency Family Leave

In the event of a family emergency such as unavailable childcare, CCCS provides you with reasonable time off in order to make alternative arrangements.

Career Breaks

Once you have been with CCCS for 3 years you can apply to take a career break of up to 1 year to pursue other activities, such as to extend your maternity leave, undertake additional studies, travel, etc.

Changing Working Hours

At CCCS we recognise that personal circumstances change over time and that your working hours conflict with other commitments. We will endeavour to be flexible regarding your hours to accommodate your personal situation and the needs of the business.
