This course looks at the knowledge and skills you need to confidently give practical and effective advice to individuals in financial difficulty.

Debt prioritisation and collections process

This course examines in detail priority and non priority debts to give you an understanding of their key features and sanctions for non payment. The course examines the guidelines that creditors follow when collectiong non priority debts.

County court procedures and enforcement

This course will give you a thorough understanding of the county court process including the various court forms. It looks at the potential methods of enforcement for unpaid county court judgments.

Statutory debt solutions

This course examines the key features and processes of bankruptcy, individual voluntary arrangements, debt relief orders and administration orders.

Non statutory debt solutions and budgeting

This course looks at debt management plans, token payments and full and final settlements. It covers the importance of effective budgeting and how it can be used to assess an individual's financial difficulty.

Money and debt advice call handling

This course looks at the techniques needed to deal with a wide range of emotions displayed by individuals in financial difficulty. It covers the regulations you should apply as an advisor.

Personal money management

This course will help work out where money goes, how to reduce financial stress and develop a plan to help achieve financial goals.
