Northern Ireland > Debt solutions > DMP

A debt management plan is not a legally binding agreement. Your creditors are not obliged to freeze the interest on the debts you have. However, we do have excellent relationships with creditors and we do request that they stop any further interest being added and charges being made.

Creditors may consider freezing interest and stopping charges to give you an opportunity to improve your situation. It is at the discretion of the creditors to do this as they are not legally obliged to do so.

We do not offer debt consolidation as a service, and we will not refer you to any organisations that do.

We cannot provide advice when it comes to finding a new mortgage product you should always seek advice with an independent mortgage broker.
