If a creditor has taken you to court, you will be given a court judgment or order. Normally this will be a county court judgment (CCJ). This tells you how much to pay each month or asks you to pay the whole debt immediately.
If you can afford to make the payments, you should do so. If you can not manage the payments you should not ignore the situation as serious further action could be taken against you.
Please contact our Helpline if you are struggling to pay any court order. Court action can be difficult to deal with and it is important you get specialist advice.
