Debt management scheme

A DMP can be an effective debt management scheme, allowing you to pay off your debts while keeping enough money to live on.

CCCS provide no-fee debt management plans. Find out now if you qualify with a free, private, no-commitment online consultancy from CCCS|DebtRemedy

A DMP, or debt management plan, is an ideal debt solution for those who are struggling to meet the contractual payments on their debts but do have some disposable income to contribute. Disposable income is the money you have left over after paying for all your essential household bills and living expenses.

Generally, a third party will organise your DMP. This might be a charity like us (our services are free of charge) or a fee-charging debt management company. The third party will draw up a proposal for the scheme and present it to your creditors, asking them to accept reduced payments and freeze interest on the debt.

If the debt management plan is approved, you pay one monthly payment to the third party and they distribute the funds to your creditors.

Debt management help

As the UK’s number one debt help charity, creditors agree to our proposals in the vast majority of cases. Remember, we do not charge for arranging your DMP, so everything you pay goes towards clearing your debts.

We also make sure you only pay what you can afford and that you have enough to live on and pay essential bills and living expenses.
