What our employees say

We regularly ask our staff to carry out surveys, and in the past we have used Best Companies to get their opinion on eight main areas (my company, leadership, personal growth, my manager, my team, giving something back, fair deal and well-being).

Our ‘Best Companies’ award

In 2008, over 500 companies registered to go for ‘Star Status’ and we were among the top 150 companies achieving this standard.  As a result of the survey, Best Companies gave us two stars and said we are an ‘outstanding organisation’ to work for.  

Our staff found reward came from helping our clients who have turned to us because of their debt problems.  They felt we were making a difference in the world, giving us an 85% positive score  and only three organisations in the survey had a higher score.  Those who completed the survey also think that we have principles (80%) and they are proud to work for us (81%).  All of our staff feel this is a great place to work, and a place where their jobs are secure and staff care about each other.

We see these results as a journey rather than a destination. We are continually trying to identify areas where we can do better.  We continue try to motivate and inspire people using our staff feedback and feedback from clients.
