Bankruptcy register

Personal bankruptcy is public information. The details of your bankruptcy will be recorded on a register called the Insolvency Register.

Find out if bankruptcy is the answer to your debt problems with a free, private no-commitment online consultancy from CCCS|DebtRemedy

The Insolvency Register is available to read on the Internet, so bankruptcy could have implications for your confidentiality. However, the only people who are likely to look at this register are creditors.

Bankruptcy notices are not normally included in your local paper. The official receiver will only tell those who need to know about your bankruptcy.
