Increasing text size

Internet Explorer 6

Mouse actions

On the Internet Explorer menu bar:

  • Select View
  • Point to Text Size

In the Text Size list:

  • Select the text size that best meets your requirement

Keyboard actions

On the Internet Explorer menu bar:

  • Open the View menu by pressing Alt + v
  • Select Text Size by pressing x

In the Text Size list:

  • Move to the text size option that best meets your requirement

Internet Explorer 7

Mouse actions

On the start menu, select the Internet Explorer 7. To change the text size on a Web page:

  • Select the Page menu
  • Point to Text Size

Select your choice of Largest, Larger, Medium, Smaller or Smallest text sizes.

Keyboard actions

Display the start menu by pressing the Windows logo key. Select Internet Explorer 7 by using the arrow keys, then press enter. To change the text size on a web page:

  • Select the page menu by pressing Alt+p
  • Select Text Size by pressing x

Select your choice of Largest, Larger, Medium, Smaller or Smallest text sizes by pressing the arrow keys, and then enter.

Internet Explorer 8

Mouse actions

On the start menu, select Internet Explorer 8. To change the text size on a Web page:

  • Select the Page menu
  • Point to Text Size

Select your choice of Largest, Larger, Medium, Smaller or Smallest text sizes.

Keyboard actions

Display the start menu by pressing the Windows logo key.

FireFox browser 3.x

Mouse actions

  • Click on View on the browser menu bar
  • Highlight Zoom with your mouse and you will be presented with 3 choices that will allow you to increase or decrease text size
  • Increase or Decrease your font size and you will see a change in text size on this web page. You can also hold down <Ctrl> and type "+" or "-" to change the font size
  • Select Normal or <Ctrl> and "0" to return to the default text size
